The Wall Street Journal reports today that “More U.S. Legal Work Moves to India’s Low Cost Lawyers.” Eric Bellman and Nathan Koppel write that Pangea3, a New York based global legal outsourcing company has more than 25 lawyers in india and over 20 US customers.
Outsourcing contracts, checking on patent applications, reviewing documents related to foreign cases are all amoung the work sent to India. Queery: what will be the effect of a mistake? Certainly, as in process server cases, the mistake of the employee/outsourceee is attributable to the employer/sourcer, but that it just the iceberg’s tip. More later.
