The Law Journal online services reports that Epstein Becker Green has been sued in a huge action.
“Two companies that paid millions in settlements and legal fees due to an age discrimination suit are now suing their former law firm, Epstein Becker & Green, for $3.8 million. The companies claim the firm signed off on a benefits policy that allowed younger workers to receive a more generous severance package than their older counterparts, without warning of the legal consequences. Ronald M. Green, a co-founder of Epstein Becker, says the companies elected to settle the claims on their own.”
